Not それに それに is more casual and commonly used in everyday conversation. その上 is slightly more formal and is often used in writing or careful speech. In many contexts they are interchangeable, but その上 adds a stronger sense of 'furthermore' and is preferred in logical or argumentative contexts.
Register その上 is neutral to slightly formal; it is used in both speaking and writing, but in casual conversation それに is more natural.
