The half of Japanese you cannot practise by reading

Recognising a character is not the same as being able to form it, and understanding a sentence is not the same as being able to build one. This is where you produce, not receive.

Today's task · 14 October

Write about what you did last Sunday, with one thing you did in the morning and one in the afternoon.

せんしゅうのにちようびに なにを しましたか。あさと ごごに したことを かいてください。

Use this pattern

〜ました (past polite form)

Use 〜ました to talk about actions that are already finished, such as things you did yesterday or last week. To make it, change the ます ending of a verb to ました: いきます becomes いきました. Example: あさ、こうえんへ いきました。

Use these words

  • あさ
  • ともだち
  • いえ
