Nihoner.com (“Nihoner”, “we”, “our”) uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) and automated systems to generate exercises, translations, explanations, examples, and interactive content. These tools are designed to support language learning, but they are not perfect. This page clarifies the limits of AI content and your responsibilities when using it.
1. Nature of AI Content
- AI-generated content may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, misleading, biased, or offensive.
- AI outputs may hallucinate facts, produce contradictory information, or fail to reflect cultural nuances.
- All AI outputs are provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, suitability, or reliability.
2. No Tutor, Teacher, or Advisor Relationship
- AI systems on Nihoner are tools, not teachers.
- They do not create a student–teacher, advisor–client, or fiduciary relationship.
- Nothing produced by AI should be considered professional advice or personalized instruction.
3. No Reliance for Professional or Critical Decisions
- You must not rely on AI outputs for legal, immigration, medical, financial, academic, or psychological decisions.
- Nihoner bears no responsibility for actions, damages, or losses resulting from reliance on AI content in real-world decision-making.
4. Verification Required
- All AI explanations, translations, and cultural examples must be verified through independent, authoritative sources before use.
- You are solely responsible for checking correctness before relying on AI outputs.
5. Prohibited Data Inputs
- Do not input confidential, sensitive, or personal data into AI fields (including but not limited to medical information, financial details, passwords, or legal case details).
- Any data you submit may be processed by third-party AI providers. Nihoner cannot guarantee confidentiality of such submissions.
6. Third-Party AI Providers & Service Availability
- AI features may rely on third-party providers (e.g., OpenAI, Cloudflare, hosting services).
- Nihoner does not guarantee the uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or continued provision of these services.
- AI features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
7. Bias & Cultural Sensitivities
- AI may generate biased, offensive, or culturally inappropriate material.
- Nihoner disclaims responsibility for any harm or offense caused by such outputs.
- Learners are encouraged to approach AI outputs critically and cross-reference with trusted sources.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Nihoner, its owners, and affiliates disclaim liability for any losses, damages, or claims arising from reliance on AI-generated content.
- Where liability cannot be excluded, it is strictly capped at the greater of:
- Fees you paid in the last three (3) months, or
- EUR 100 (one hundred euros).
9. Governing Law
This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of Poland, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country.
Disputes must be resolved in the courts of Warsaw, Poland, unless your local law requires otherwise.
10. Learner Responsibility
Nihoner AI is a learning assistant, not a replacement for human teachers, experts, or professionals.
By using AI features, you accept full responsibility for how you interpret and apply AI outputs in your studies and in life.
