Today's task · 3 November
Write about where you went last weekend and what you did there.
せんしゅうの どようびか にちようびに どこへ いきましたか。そこで なにを しましたか。かいて ください。
Use this pattern
〜へ いきました + 〜で 〜ました
Use へ with a place to say where you went, and で with an action to say what you did at that place. Both verbs go in the past polite form 〜ました. Example: こうえんへ いきました。こうえんで さんぽしました。
Use these words
- こうえん
- さんぽ
- ともだち
At least 12 characters.
The check is instant, free and unlimited. It runs on this site's own dictionary and grammar tables — nothing you write is sent anywhere.
One way to write it
せんしゅうの にちようびに ともだちと こうえんへ いきました。こうえんで さんぽしました。とても たのしかったです。
The place comes before へ and the activity comes before で, so each sentence names the location once and then the action done there. ともだちと is added with と because the writer went with a friend, which is natural for a weekend story.
Yours does not have to match this. It has to be yours.
