Use this pattern
〜ました (past polite form)
Use 〜ました when you talk about something that already finished, like yesterday or last week. For example, 行きます means 'I go / I will go', but 行きました means 'I went'.

One way to write it
せんしゅう、デパートへ行きました。友だちとえいがを見ました。とてもたのしかったです。
The verb comes at the end of each sentence, and へ marks the destination and と marks the person you were with. The plain past たのしかったです comes from the adjective たのしい, which is used for feelings in the past.
