Jōshi ga watashi no misu o shiteki shita.
My boss pointed out my mistake.
彼の指摘はもっともだと思う。
Kare no shiteki wa mottomo da to omou.
I think his point is valid.
⚖️ Not to be confused with 指示 (shiji), which means an instruction or order rather than pointing out a problem.
