Urayasu is a city located in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 November 2020, the city had an estimated population of 170,533 in 81,136 households and a population density of 9,900 inhabitants per square kilometre (26,000/sq mi). The total area of the city is 17.30 square kilometres (6.68 sq mi). Urayasu is best known as the home of Tokyo Disney Resort, which opened in April 1983, and the headquarters of The Oriental Land Company.
